2018 Essex go Bragh Irish Parade: Everything You Need To Know

Where can you park? What’s happening down town? Everything you need for the 8^th Annual Essex go Bragh Irish Parade is right here!

The 8^th Annual Essex go Bragh Parade will be held, rain, snow, or shine, on Saturday, March 10th 2017, – However in the case of severe weather or other safety concerns the parade will be cancelled by 9am and not be rescheduled.  (We will utilize our Essex Park and Recreation Facebook page and www.essexct.gov web site for notifications)

Here’s everything you need to know for the big day.

The parade will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. from Essex Town Hall and will proceed  south on West Avenue passing Champlin Square to Main Street Essex Village turning upon Ferry Street to end the Parade. The parade this year is estimated to last no more than 1 hour and will include Fife & Drum Corps, Local Veterans, Irish Step Dancers, a Parade of Pooches and a host of local, state, and regional organizations social/fraternal organizations, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Schools, and non-profits.

Parking will be available at Cross Lots Park, Hubbard Field, Public Lot behind Essex Post Office, Griswold Square; Rt. 9 Exit 3 Commuter Lot, Limited Parking will be available along Essex Village Streets. There is NO Public Parking at Essex Town Hall. Please obey all traffic & parking signs.
