CMS OFFERS UNIQUE UKULELE WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS

CENTERBROOK – Community Music School will be offering its unique Ukulele Workshop for Beginners again this summer on August 25, 2018 from 12 to 2 pm. This workshop sold out quickly in the spring semester and is back by popular demand! Open to ages 8 through adult in our Centerbrook location. Learn the fundamentals of the ukulele in a group program dedicated to the absolute beginner!
CMS Faculty Member John Birt will include an overview of the instrument, tuning basics, fundamental chords and strumming, and an introduction to note reading using the Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book 1 (book included with tuition). Students have the option of receiving a new ukulele with the class at a reduced rate – in a variety of fun colors!
