Connecticut River Artisans is saying farewell to Summer with Arline O’Brien as September’s Featured Artist.

Arline has been knitting for a good many years. She passed the dark days of COVID by knitting fabulous infant and children’s sweaters and sets.  Her approach is unique. Arline uses one pattern and uses color texture and design to produce incredible uniqueness.  She also teaches knitting to adults and children.

Arline’s creative journey doesn’t end here.  She creates beautiful baskets.  Dyes the reeds to enhance the designs.  The results are beautiful.

Connecticut River artisans is celebrating Arline at a reception on September 12, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at our shop, located at 55 Main Street, in the lovely town of Essex.  Join us for refreshments and camaraderie. Meet Arline and see her beautiful designs. Featured artist designs are always discounted for receptions. Many of the artisans will be there, as well.  We look forward to seeing you.
