Exciting New Plants at Acer Gardens Nursery

April 11, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Free

Are you searching for something new and unusual to plant in your garden this year?

Join Rosemary and Bill Harris of Acer Gardens on Thursday, April 11th at 7:00 p.m. at the Essex Library for a 60-minute discussion on the many new annuals, perennials and shrubs available for the 2019 growing season. Learn about the new perennial cultivars featuring extended blooming periods, dazzling annuals in new and unusual color combinations and shrubs that are available in smaller sizes well-adapted to the Connecticut growing season. They will discuss the growing habits and required conditions of these plants, many of which are suitable for containers and they’ll also show you how to choose and fit new plants into your existing gardens. Plants will be available for purchase.

This talk and plant sale is free and open to the public. For more information or to register, please call the Essex Library at 860-767-1560. The Essex Library is located at 33 West Avenue in Essex.
