Friends Annual Spring Book Sale

Friends of the Essex Library was established to promote and enrich the services, programs, and facilities the library provides to the community that are beyond the scope of the library budget. Fundraising is the backbone of the organization and the Friends Annual Spring Book Sale is always a major event.
This year’s sale commences Saturday, May 19th with doors open from 9am to 5pm. From 3-5pm books will sell for half price.
The “Fill your Bag for $5” sale will be held Monday, May 21 from 10am-6pm. You are invited to bring your own tote or paper bag, or take one of ours.
New at this sale are plenty of audio books on CD for listening while you work out, are in the car, or wherever your busy life takes you. Two weeks prior to the sale, specific information, including special books, Life magazines from 1940, 1942 and 1948, and antique (pre-1945) books will be on the Essex Library Friends webpage.
