Fluid painting involves layering acrylic paints of different densities and incorporating certain additives which can result in gorgeous combinations of paint, cells, and lacing...or mud depending upon what you put together! The Blooms technique will be demonstrated using 4 ceramic tiles which can be used as coasters. The best part is no artistic experience is necessary. Participants learn how to design and construct a heart shaped project created with hand dyed silk from Uzbekistan and Australian fine merino wool.  This technique, called Nuno felting, can also be used to make beautiful silk scarves, hats, vests or jackets.  Even beginning felts can learn to apply these materials in a very painterly manner. Learn how to successfully paint a cardinal in its natural setting in watercolor. Instructor demonstrates each stage of the painting process and gives plenty of individual attention. Many exciting watercolor painting techniques are demonstrated and discussed.
