COOKED is a reimagined food destination. We handcraft our fare fresh every morning with seasonal ingredients and an unfussy-but-finessed approach. With unique prepared foods, the very best in dry pantry essentials and to-go floral arrangements, COOKED is the marketplace everyone wants in their neighborhood.
Located across the street from the original Witch Hazel Factory and historic Essex Steam Train, 5 Main was home to the neighborhood gem Bennie’s Farm Market. What began as a small roadside farm stand in 1935 developed into a proud local landmark that thrived for decades and is still talked about today. After Bennie’s it became a barbecue supply shop, and is now home to our marketplace and mercantile: COOKED.
