The Essex Library is your community center for lifelong learning and cultural enrichment.  In addition to traditional library services we offer a free high speed wi-fi connection, access to 14 public computers, and over 400 programs each year ranging from talks on raising backyard chickens to lectures by Nobel Prize winners and much more.  Our friendly and professional staff will always greet you with a smile and be pleased to serve you.
