BRAINFOOD: THE EVOLUTION AND APPLICATION OF EATING
April 19, 2022 @ 7:00 pm
FreePeople often say “you are what you eat”, but how has this changed over time? How does our diet impact the development of our brain? Join Yale Science Communication graduate students Shannon Rainsford, Audrey Tjahjadi, and Grace Swaim as they present their research for the Essex Library on April 19 at 7 p.m. on Zoom. They’ll discuss how humans evolved to seek out food, and the biology of how the brain uses that food to think! Co-hosted with the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon.
This Zoom event is free and open to all. Registration is required. For more information or to register, please see https://www.youressexlibrary.org/adult-services/adults-featured-events/ or call the Essex Library at (860) 767-1560.
