Conquer the Current Paddle Regatta

Conquer the Current Paddle Regatta- August 13th, 7AM- 3PM
CRM’s 1st Annual Paddle Regatta will benefit the Museum’s Education Scholarship Fund, and take place the morning of Sunday, August 13th.
The 9 mile course will start at Eagle Landing in Haddam and proceed downriver along the West bank of the Connecticut River to the Finish Line in Essex.
$30 per paddle pre-registration fee & $70 fundraising goal (or $110 registration fee day of event).
Kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards and any human powered vessel welcome.
Awards will be given to top individual and team fundraisers and finishers, and the first 100 registrants will receive a Conquer the Current t-shirt.
There will be a party and family fun events on the lawn of the Museum with stand-up paddle board demonstrations by Paddleworks of Clinton and a family fun paddle parade around Essex harbor at 12:00pm. Refreshments will be available.
Return transportation to Eagle Landing will be provided.
