Distracted Driving for Teens

Essex Library will host a Distracted Driving program for teens in grades 9-12 on May 25 from 4-5 PM. Participants are invited to join Jennifer Monahan BSN, Trauma Quality PI Nurse at Backus Hospital, for this interactive presentation.

Reckless driving is the number one cause of death for teens in America. Don’t be another statistic. Phone calls, texting, app notifications, there are so many distractions teens face in life… but what happens when these distractions occur while driving?

This workshop will address common driving distractions, and what teens can do to eliminate these distractions while they are on the road.
