Dogs on the Dock

The waterfront lawn of the Connecticut River Museum “goes to the dogs” with the Dogs On The Dock parade and competition. Dog owners and dog lovers alike are invited to attend rain or shine. Dog participant registration starts at 1:00 pm. on October 9th. A blessing of the dogs and the lawn parade are followed by individual canine competitions. Featured categories include best costume, best nautical costume, best owner look-alike, smallest dog, biggest dog, best trick and best dock jumping. Dock jumping dogs must wear a harness to participate.

Net proceeds of the event are being donated to area pet organizations.
All dogs must have a 2022 license and rabies tag to participate.
Register onsite at 1:00. $10 per dog, $5 per additional dog
