Fire Prevention Touch-A-Truck Event

Essex Library will host a Fire Prevention Touch-A-Truck Event with Essex Fire Engine Company #1 to kick off Fire Prevention Week. This event is an opportunity for children and their families to learn important fire safety information and have a hands-on experience meeting firefighters and seeing their equipment.

Essex firefighters will introduce children to their life-saving gear, and kids will have the opportunity to touch some real life fire trucks! The Fire Prevention Touch-A-Truck Event will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Essex Library. The fire safety presentation will be held in the Essex Library Program Room at 10:00 followed by the Touch-A-Truck event in the Town Hall parking lot.

This in-person program is free and open to all. No registration is required.
