Fish with CARE

Program for kids ages 6 and up.

The CARE program offers learn to fish events for adults ages 16 and up, as well as families with children 6 years old and above. They provide loaner fishing equipment, bait, and expert instruction. A Conservation Identification Number (CID) is required to register. Participants 16 and up must have a valid CT fishing license. Participants ages 15 and below must also obtain a free VID before registering and have the option to register for a YOUth Fishing Passport. A Conservation ID or a Youth Fishing Passport can be obtained by creating an account on the Online Licensing System.
