Electric vehicles are an important part of mitigating climate change as well as improving air quality locally. And they’re a lot of fun to drive. On September 27 at 7 p.m. you can learn everything you need to know about buying an electric car when the Essex Library and Sustainable Essex co-host members of the Electric Vehicle Club of CT. They’ll discuss the basics of how they work, why they have a lower cost of ownership, how to keep them charged and how to take advantage of available incentives.

There are incentives that lower the cost of acquiring and charging an EV from the federal and state governments, and the utilities. But the world of incentives is changing and getting more complicated. This Zoom meeting will give you the latest information available. Presented by Analiese Mione and Barry Kresch who are on the leadership team of the Electric Vehicle Club of CT.
