Harry Potter Week at the Essex Library
August 1, 2022 - August 6, 2022
Essex Library will host a Harry Potter Week. A variety of events will be held all week, August 1 – August 6. All Harry Potter Week activities require registration as space is limited.
Monday August 1, participants can pick up a Wizarding Kit to prepare them for their wizarding journey.
Tuesday August 2 at 2:00 PM, Essex Library will host a sorting ceremony and wand making event. Come in costume, as it is Harry Potter Spirit Day at the library as well!
Wednesday August 3 at 1:00 PM, Essex Library will host an edible potions class. Contact the library for any questions about allergies.
Thursday August 4 at 5:00 PM, Essex Library will host a Harry Potter Movie Night. Popcorn will be provided.
Friday August 5 at 1:00 PM, Essex Library will host Herbology Class: Make a Mandrake. Participants will complete a craft to create their own mandrake.
Saturday, August 6 at 2:00 PM, Essex Library will host Harry Potter Trivia. Come test your knowledge, and have a chance to win some awesome prizes!
All events will be held in the Essex Library Program Room. Children and teens of all ages are welcome to come to these free events. Space is limited.
