Louie Listens at Essex Library

Essex Library will host a February session of Louie Listens, an opportunity for children to read with a local licensed therapy dog, on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM.

Did you know that reading to a therapy dog can not only improve your child’s reading skills, but also their self-esteem and confidence? Sign up for a time slot for your child to spend time with and read to Louie the Labrador, a local, licensed therapy dog and his handler, Rebecca Russell! Time slots will be a private 10 minutes at the library for a child to read to and interact with Louie.
