Magic Camp With Kody Hilderbrand

Essex Library Association will host a Teen/Tween Magic Camp during two Saturday sessions on July 9 & 23 at 1:00 PM. Teens and Tweens will have the opportunity to see close-up magic and learn a few tricks themselves. Instruction will be led by local Connecticut magician Kody Hildebrand.

A performing magician for the past eight years, Kody Hildebrand of Hildebrand Magic has amazed and mesmerized audiences of all ages at private events, corporate functions, conventions, and renaissance fairs. Hildebrand provides a vibrant, upbeat, professional, and comedic magic experience. In teaching magic, he seeks to educate the next generation on the benefits of learning magic – including fine and gross motor skill development, enhancing student’s public speaking and performing techniques, and increasing children’s confidence and self-esteem.

This program is made possible in part by a $2,000 Summer Enrichment Grant, issued by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Connecticut State Library.
