Open Reception of Embellishment and Ornamentation

Spectrum Gallery and Artisans Store at 61 Main Street in Centerbrook, CT presents its Holiday Show: Embellishment and Ornamentation, November 18-January 8.  The exhibit includes new work by regional and national artists who use decorative detail, adornment or materials to make their pieces more elaborate, photographers who feature heightened expressionism with intricate detail or intense color, as well as artisans who embellish their creations with flowers, felting, and other materials.  Opening reception is at the Gallery, 61 Main Street, Centerbrook, CT on Friday, November 18 (6:30-9 pm).  In addition to being a holiday gift destination, Spectrum Gallery and Store exhibits a six-foot holiday tree adorned with ornaments by local artists for purchase.
