Pet Professions with the Connecticut Humane Society (Gr. 5-12)

Essex Library will host Pet Professions; a program presented by the Connecticut Humane Society, for children and teens in grades 5-12 on Wednesday, May 17, from 4:30-5:30 PM. Participants are invited to join an animal educator from the Connecticut Humane Society to learn about careers in the animal welfare field! Learn about the skills and education needed for different positions such as dog trainer, veterinarian, animal control specialist, and more! This is a perfect program for tweens or teens who want to work with animals in the future.
