Preparing for Life’s Financial Storms: A Zoom Webinar

In this Zoom workshop hosted by the Essex library, Faye Griffiths-Smith, personal finance educator with UConn Extension will discuss steps you can take now to be better prepared to deal with life events that may impact your financial security. Some of the topics addressed on Tuesday, January 12th at 6:30 p.m. will include financial resilience, dealing with a variety of different situations such as unexpected expenses, income reductions, and severe weather preparedness as well as the importance of saving. A digital resource list and information packet from the UConn Extension Financial Education Program will be shared with registered participants. We will also offer a 5-part financial literacy education series led by Griffiths-Smith beginning Tuesday, January 26th at 6:30 pm. It will be held every other Tuesday.
