STEAM Saturdays Series: Kinetic Sand

Essex Library continues its STEAM Saturdays series for school-age children in Kindergarten through Grade 6 on Saturday, January 28 at 10:00 AM. This session, children are invited to explore how ordinary dish soap reacts with sand and cornstarch to create kinetic sand: moldable play sand that acts as a solid under pressure, but flows freely through your fingers when picked up! Participants will make their own kinetic sand to take home.

This free event is open to children in Kindergarten through Grade 6 and their caregivers. Registration required as seating is limited.
