Community Music School will be offering a unique Ukulele Workshop for Beginners, to be held on May 19, 2018 from 1 to 3 pm.  Open to ages 8 through adult in our Centerbrook location. Learn the fundamentals of the ukulele in a group program dedicated to the absolute beginner! Community Music School Faculty Member John Birt will include an overview of the instrument, tuning basics, fundamental chords and strumming, and an introduction to note reading using the Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book 1 (book included with tuition). Students have the option of receiving a new ukulele with the class at a reduced rate – in a variety of fun colors!
