“Unique Eats and Eateries of Maine” Book Talk With Mike Urban

Planning on enjoying award-winning lobster rolls in Maine this summer? How about a ‘red snapper’ hot dog? On May 2 at 7:00 p.m., Essex Library hosts Mike Urban, author of Unique Eats and Eateries of Maine.

Let Urban be your guide to the most delicious culinary treasures Maine has to offer. Urban will highlight some of the best places to chow down, no matter what you’re craving. With options to suit every taste, make plans to don a suit and tie for a special occasion feast, or throw on a sweatshirt and make a run for the local clam shack. Unique Eats and Eateries of Maine introduces the people and tells the stories behind the best culinary destinations in the Pine Tree State.

No stranger to the New England food scene, award-winning author Mike Urban has written four other books: Clam Shacks, Lobster Shacks, The New England Diner Cookbook, The New England Seafood Markets Cookbook, and Unique Eats and Eateries of Connecticut. He contributes regularly to Yankee magazine.
