The EBOT Photo Contest

The Essex Board of Trade invites you to capture the beauty, charm, and spirit of Essex, Centerbrook, or Ivoryton for our brand new photo contest! Theme: “The Essex Experience” Prize: The winning photo will be framed and featured at the Essex Art Association Gallery! Deadline to Submit: July 31, 2025 Public voting on this page from August 1 to 10 for the top five finalists How to Enter: Snap a photo or photos that wonderfully represents Essex, Centerbrook, or Ivoryton. Upload up to five high-quality photos from July 14 to July 31 using the form linked here Submission Guidelines: You may enter as many as five photos, using this form each time. (Refresh your screen as needed.) There is no restriction on when your photo(s) may have been taken. The photo(s) you submit must be your own. Summer Concert Series – Shorebreak

Essex Village Main Street Park 12 Main Street, Essex

Essex Park and Recreation is excited to be able to offer another great set of bands this year for our 2025 Summer Concert Series.  Hosted on alternating Tuesdays at The Ivoryton Green and Wednesdays at The Essex Main Street Park, concerts take place at 6:30pm from July 2 through August 13th. Please carefully note the location as our venue changes each week. July 16 – Essex Village Main Street Park – Shorebreak. Shorebreak is a 4-piece indie rock band playing original music with a wide range of influences. Led by singer-songwriter Sharif Okasha, the songs pull from a wide range of musical styles, and range from indie pop to reggae, rock, folk, and blues.
