SUMMARY:Summer Concert Series - Local Honey
DESCRIPTION:The Park & Rec summer concert featuring Local Honey scheduled for tonight\, Tuesday July 8th\, has been cancelled. \nThe National Weather Service said that a “slow moving frontal boundary will interact with a tropical air mass to bring showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall is possible and rainfall rates may be near\, or exceed\, 2″ per hour at times. This rainfall could lead to flash flooding.” \nThe weather service said the severe thunderstorm threat is most likely between 2-10 p.m. and that a “few thunderstorms may be severe with damaging wind gusts in excess of 58 mph.” The best chance for severe thunderstorms is in lower Fairfield County\, but there is a chance all across the state. \nThank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming summer 2025 concerts.
