FestiFall and Scarecrow Contest, sponsored by the Essex Board of Trade, Essex Financial, and Edward Jones – Essex

Save the Date! FestiFall is on Saturday, October 3rd from 1 to 4 pm. This years theme: Haunted History!

Fun free activities include:

• Pencil & Wool – “Faces of Essex” canvas – in front of post office (rain plan inside)
• Blissful Beauty – face painting at the Gris Courtyard; tattoos near Toys Ahoy
• CT River Museum – RiverTales crafts outside
• Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt
• Games/Activities in Park
• Free crafts throughout town
• Dirty Soda food truck
• Cornhole and large Connect4
• Free caricatures
• Petting Zoo
• Free photos at the gazebo

We will also have pumpkins available; get yours to carve for the Ivoryton Pumpkin Festival for a suggested $10 donation!

Time to get creative for this year’s Scarecrow Contest! All scarecrows will be on display all October, so enter yours with the “Haunted History” theme!

• Scarecrows should be dropped off at Essex Plaza Laundry on Sept 29 & 30.
