Maritime Music & Tradition Society

The Maritime Music & Tradition Society Corp. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2021 for the purpose of preserving and encouraging maritime and traditional music through education, research, performance, and community. It holds an annual CT Sea Music Festival in downtown Essex on the second weekend in June (https://ctseamusicfest.org). It receives support from local businesses and state-wide agencies.
