Peyote stitch dates back to ancient Egypt, evidenced by artifacts found in King Tutankhamun’s tomb. Also in North America, Native Americans, namely the Kiowa and Comanche tribes, use the stitch giving it its name. This off-loom beading technique creates both flat bands and structural shapes.
