American Sign Language Story Time with ASL Interpreter Janice Knauth

Essex Library will host the second session of our Multilingual Story Time series on Wednesday July 5 at 4:30 PM. Each session will focus on a different language. Children will learn basic words in the focus language, sing songs, and listen to a book read bilingually!

For this session, we are joined by local sign language expert Janice Knauth to learn about ASL and deaf culture. Janice Knauth is a certified ASL interpreter with 35+ years of experience, with 32 years of experience at the American School for the Deaf in various roles.
