Celebrate Spring with Paper Quilling Flowers Workshop

Create original art with paper quilling that you may frame or apply to greeting cards, gift bags and boxes. It is an art form that employs strips of paper that are wrapped around a quilling tool, glued and then pressed into various shapes. Learn how to fashion these shapes into different types of flowers.
It is believed that quilling was first practiced in Ancient Egypt and then was popular in Renaissance France and Italy as well as 18th century England and Europe. Colonists brought quilling with them to America.
