Creating Comic Book and Fantasy Characters Workshop

In this workshop learn how to create unique characters for animation, comics, picture books, games and fantasy and how to bring your characters to life. We will discuss the importance of expression, color, shape, movement and design as well as making dynamic costumes and clothing. Industry standards used by animators and production artists to create characters will also be reviewed. A personal sketchbook is recommended but not required. If you have anything specific you like to draw with, bring it along. The instructor provides all other materials.
