Financial Fraud Bingo

Essex Library will host a Financial Fraud Bingo program for teens in grades 9-12 on April 18 from 5-6 PM. Participants are invited to join Banking Outreach Coordinator Kathleen Titsworth from the Connecticut Department of Banking to learn how to avoid financial fraud in this hands-on workshop.

Financial Fraud Bingo is played like regular Bingo, but each number is associated with a tip or bit of information on an array of consumer protection issues – banking scams, investment fraud, cyber security, credit and debt management, and more. It’s a fun, interactive way to learn about protecting our personal information and our finances!
