This Fall learn about Gustav Klimt’s unique approach to layering visual beauty in his artwork. We will view images to get a full appreciation of his integration of the decorative and fine arts.
This Fall learn about Gustav Klimt’s unique approach to layering visual beauty in his artwork. We will view images to get a full appreciation of his integration of the decorative and fine arts.
This 5-week class offers 3 choices for your finished project. Creating an Art Journal utilizing free hand and stencils while incorporating cutting and pasting techniques. Another option is to trace a copy of a Klimt painting to recreate it onto a canvas, and a third choice is to design your own work using the Klimt approach. We will also spend time learning to make decorative papers via gel printing with patterns and Klimt-like stencils and stamps. Material list available upon registration.
