Hiding in Plain Sight, An Author Talk at Essex Library

Orlene Allen Gallops will be at the Essex Library to discuss her book, Hiding In Plain Sight: Bringing Our Jewish Family’s Truth to Light. The book is Gallops’ personal account of discovering her Jewish heritage as an adult, a secret shrouded in mystery for decades, and the ultimate discovery of the tragic past of her family. The book weaves together an extraordinary story with five years of research in a relentless search for answers, taking Gallops to places around the globe and meeting people she never could have imagined.
