On Zoom: The Art of Building Texture in Trees with Collage & Mixed Media

This class is a multi-layered collage approach to creating intricate textures for trees using golden gel pastes, torn ephemera, imagery, text and script.  Specialty textural papers and corrugated cardboard are welcome as well.  Instructor has created over 90 art works through the years focusing on the beauty of trees, especially the intricacies of their barks.  You will also add to that the asymmetrical designs of branches and the various sculptural forms that trees can take.  If this excites your creative juices, take photographs w/ your cell phone, find on-line images and magazine shots of trees that interest you.
