Origami Star and Wreath Holiday Ornament Workshop

Learn the modular method of folding which starts with multiple sheets of paper to create individual units that are then assembled into one finished piece. Participants will create 3 styles of paper ornaments. Paint, splatter, sponge, crinkle and stamp with your choice of colors to make unique papers for folding. Holiday inspired pre-printed papers, book pages, and sheet music will also be available for use. These ornaments make great decorations, favors and gifts. The flat wreath ornament is the perfect size to send as a surprise gift inside your holiday greeting cards. No experience necessary. All materials and tools are supplied.

Fee – $45 Registration fee plus $15 materials fee paid to instructor
Teaching artist Kathy Johnson has a passion for anything paper or garden related and works in the mediums of collage, mixed media and eco printing. She has had fun finding new and challenging origami models to make over the years and loves creating decorations and table favors for each of the holidays.
