Stories in the Stitches

FreeEssex Library will host Stories in the Stitches; a craft program presented by the Connecticut Historical Society and Museum, on Wednesday, July 19 at 4 PM, held at the Essex Library.
In this program, children will read a story about quilting, learn the stories behind some Connecticut quilts, and then design their own quilt square using felt and fabric! Families will also take home a kit that contains an activity booklet and quilt-related activity to continue the fun!
