We are happy to announce that we will be open during the Ivoryton Parade selling breakfast sandwiches. This is the first time we will participate in the parade as we are typically closed on this day. We will also set up a kids' table with complimentary bubbles, temporary tattoos and face glitter.

Join the Connecticut River Museum this Independence Day for an afternoon of excitement, learning and fun! Enjoy a spectacle of dazzling boat displays and cannon fire after visiting the Museum exhibits and participating in a children’s activity. The Essex Scarecrow Contest and FestiFall have become a much-loved community tradition, bringing creativity, fun, and local spirit to the Main Streets of Centerbrook, Essex, and Ivoryton each fall! Every year, residents, businesses, and organizations design and build scarecrows to display on lamp posts throughout town. The scarecrows will be on display all October, so stroll the streets, snap photos, and share your favorites!
