A Celtic Musical Performance by Entwyned

A Celtic musical performance entitled, “Give Me Your Hand,” presented by the group Entwyned in the program room of the Essex Library!

This program will highlight delightful selections from the Edward Bunting Collections, first published in 1796. Bunting traveled throughout Ireland to capture in written form traditional Irish music before it was forever lost. Entwyned will perform and describe the joyous, wistful, and rollicking music of the Celtic nations from Bunting and other historic sources, adapted to our instruments: Celtic harp, lutes, historic guitar, mandolin, Baroque flutes, and Viola da Gamba.
