Creative Dance with River Valley Dance Project

Essex Library will host a Creative Dance Workshop on Saturday, July 22 at 10 AM. Kids will be introduced to basic movement skills in a group environment that will foster body awareness, self-confidence, and cooperative play! Workshop led by Linalynn Schmelzer, owner of River Valley Dance Project.

Linalynn has nearly two decades of experience as a performer, choreographer, and instructor. She holds a bachelor’s in fine art in Dance from the University of Massachusetts Five College Dance Departments and a Master’s in Science in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute. She has performed with many modern dance companies, and is passionate about making dance/movement accessible to all people in a safe and supportive environment. River Valley Dance Project School is located in Deep River, and Linalynn is delighted to bring her joy and passion for teaching to her community and beyond.
