Hindi Story Time

Join the Essex Library for a Hindi Storytime on July 21 at 4:00 PM, as part of our Multilingual Story Time Series. Each session of this series will focus on a different language, sharing stories, words, and songs bilingually! This session will focus on Hindi, the fourth most-spoken first language in the world.

Connecticut author Priya Gupta will present an engaging story time including a bilingual reading of her book, “Phir Aya Somvar” or “Yay! It’s Monday!” in English and Hindi. Attendees will learn about Indian languages and cultures, and take part in a fun activity along the theme of the book!
