Long Island Sound Band – Versatile and popular, this premiere group has entertained audiences at weddings, social events, and clubs throughout New England. The band was formed in 1974 by Ivoryton drummer and vocalist Gary “Coach” Ribchinsky.
Audiences are treated to a wide variety of the most popular music including Swing, Motown, Oldies Rock, Funk, Disco, Latin, Country and Top 40 . The Long Island Sound features three horns, a full rhythm section and recording artist -vocalist Mary Beth Sippin.Come see The Long Island Sound for a night of great music at the Ivoryton Green! They are a seven piece versatile band with class and lots of energy!
