Introduction to Botanical Illustration in Colored Pencil

In this one-day workshop learn the basic techniques of botanical illustration using colored pencil. Learn to sketch, shade and create form. During the three-hour session, Nancy Bentivegna, a seasoned instructor who has taught many multiple week sessions, teaches you how to layer color to create interest and depth, draw simple flowers, draw and shade leaves and other useful tips to start you on the road to botanical illustration. If you ever wanted to try drawing botanicals, this is a great class! Material list available upon registration.
Cost: $45 with a $5 flower material fee paid to the instructor; Members save $4. Flowers can be taken home.
