Master Gardener Kathy Connolly will be at the Essex Library to help participants learn how to support the natural process of pollination 365 days and 24/7 by following nature’s own designs. In this one-hour presentation, attendees will learn:

The “real” growing season and the importance of continuous bloom from March to November.
The life-giving properties of “dead” plant material.
The importance of nighttime pollinators.
High-value plants that will work in your growing conditions
Why we need to care for mature trees, shrubs, and other plants–and not simply focus on planting new.
